Data Analyst
We are looking to hire a data analyst for The Lindsay Group Co.

We are looking for a problem-solver, who uses both quantitative and qualitative methods to get things done. Someone who will be able to get into the details and get the job done while at the same time being able to see the forest for the trees. Someone who will articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Someone who is collaboratively focused and able to work well with others in a fast-paced and growing business. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience in data analysis, and a deep understanding of statistics for the Social Sciences. Previous experience with the phenomenological approach is a plus.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and test sampling techniques and analytical methods.
- Evaluate sources of information to determine any limitations, in terms of reliability or usability.
- Evaluate the statistical methods and procedures used to obtain data to ensure validity, applicability, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Prepare data for processing by organizing information, checking for inaccuracies, and adjusting and weighting the raw data.
- Analyze and interpret statistical data to identify significant differences in relationships among sources of information.
- Identify relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could affect the results of research.
- Report results of statistical analyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables.
- Prepare detailed reports for clients by analyzing and interpreting data.

Education and Experience:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics
● (Master’s Degree in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology is a plus)
● Previous experience with analytical or scientific software like IBM SPSS Statistics, R, and Python.
● 1+ years of related experience in data analysis or statistics.
